This holiday weekend, let us not forget to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Team, first and foremost, thank you for everything you do to assist our clients and families!  Some important reminders, however…we are in the business of helping people, many who cannot help themselves, and families who rely on us for peace of mind that their loved ones are well cared for.  We have had an excess number of call outs lately, and I’m not sure what is happening.  While we try to create a culture of “family” within our organization, it is critical to remember we are not just bagging groceries or serving coffee or flipping burgers—we are taking care of human beings that are relying on us to age with dignity and grace.  We completely understand things come up last minute, kiddos get sick, car troubles happen, etc.  But please do everything you can to get to your shifts and plan ahead.  At minimum, give us as much notice as possible when something comes up.  And if your schedule becomes overwhelming, let us know with a couple week’s notice so we can make changes and ensure you have time to take care of your own families and yourselves.  Again, remember we are in the “people” business, and those people are counting on us for help…a sincere thank you for being a part of Senior Helpers!
